Tricky Words – Economic or economical?

Tricky Words – Economic or economical?

Level: , ,
Keywords: , ,

In this Tricky Words activity students revise the two confusing concepts economic and economical, by looking at some examples, doing a challenging fill in gaps exercise and a definitions practice read aloud by the teacher. They also discuss some questions that will help them integrate the difference between these two concepts for good.

It is a great activity that lasts about 30 minutes and that includes a 10-minute speaking practice.

It may be a bit too challenging for B2, unless your B2 group is really demanding. It is perfect for C levels.
