Homeschooling

In this C1 Speaking Worksheet students talk about homeschooling, how common it is, their opinion about it and how it compares to traditional educational systems.

Students revise Grammar contents like passive constructions, the expression of probability and inversions with Not only… but (also). In the section of Functional language, they look at three specific verbs that will allow them to speak more accurately about the topic.

Some phrasal verbs are given, together with advanced vocabulary to talk about different educational models. Common idioms are also introduced.

This C1 speaking activity includes speaking questions about homeschooling to get your students talking, so they integrate all the contents on the worksheet while they speak.

You can also download the teacher and student’s feedback templates at the bottom of the downloads box. With them, you will be able to give your students well-structured individual feedback to take home.
