In this B1 Speaking Activity, students talk about technology and the role it plays in their life.
Students revise grammar contents like subordinate sentences of purpose introduced by «so (that)» and «in order to» and quantifiers like «little», «few» and «most of». In the section of Speaking skills, they look at ways to express preference and at how to use intensifying adverbs naturally in conversation.
Some B1 phrasal verbs to talk about technology are also given, together with specific B1 level vocabulary arranged in three sections, that is, nouns, verbs and adjectives that they will need to discuss the topic. Several idioms and common expressions are also introduced, so students become familiar with them.
This B1 Speaking activity includes speaking questions about how they use technology and whether technological advances have a positive impact on the way we communicate. This way, they will integrate all the contents on their worksheet while they talk.
