This C1 Intralinguistic (English-English) Written Mediation Task is perfect to train mediating texts, and also to train students’ ability to summarize, as this is one of the microskills they will need to put into practice.
This task has been designed so it can be used for C1 Mediation Exam Training, serving as training both for students and for teachers.
You have the same situation available in Oral Mediation format, so you can choose the one that suits you best.
«Stress» is an intralinguistic C1 written mediation task in which students can reflect on their own mediation process, as they are asked to identify the strategies and microskills they have resorted to in their written mediated text.
This way students familiarize with the processes that mediators need to be aware of on their way to mastering this language activity so they can face mediation 100% stress-free.
