Alternative ways of travelling

Level: ,

In this B2 Speaking Activitystudents talk about different ways of travelling that are different from the most traditional versions.

Students revise grammar contents like the future continuous for plans and arrangements, pronouns another, other and others, and the use of all vs. the whole. In the section of Speaking skills, they look at ways to ask about place or direction in a colloquial way and revise different expressions to show understanding.

Some B2 phrasal verbs to talk about alternative ways of travelling are also given, together with B2 level vocabulary arranged in sections like house sitting, house swapping, backpacking, etc. Several idioms and common expressions are also introduced, so students become familiar with them.

This B2 speaking activity includes speaking questions about travelling to get your students talking. This way, they will integrate all the contents on their worksheet while they talk.

You can also download the teacher and student’s feedback templates at the bottom of the download box. With them, you will be able to give your students well-structured individual feedback to take home.
